LIMAR Air Pro White

The Limar AIR PRO helmet has an extremely innovative production process in which carbon fiber – due to its high mechanical strength and lightweight properties – becomes the heart of the helmet. This improves the safety of the helmet without compromising weight.

CARBONCORETECH : 3K carbon coupled to EPS provides a core of superior resistance and is the main feature of the Air Pro Mips. Two structural wings merge with the side ribs of the shell, creating a high-performance cage.

Previously used as a finish, 3K carbon is now co-molded with EPS in 5 layers, and not as a simple film (just one or two layers at most). It's the same process used to build bicycle frames. In this way, exceptional mechanical resistance is obtained, allowing the use of thinner thicknesses. Carbon becomes the soul of the helmet, working with expanded polystyrene to create a high-performance cage in terms of safety and allowing to optimize ventilation in the riders' heads and the aerodynamics of air flows around the helmet.

AERODYNAMICS: The pyramidal surface of the longitudinal ribs reduces impact pressure as it cuts the air and allows for smooth gliding. The very thin carbon wings allow for easy entry and better air circulation. The extended tail prevents turbulence: CFD mathematical simulation data integrated with wind tunnel tests demonstrates an increase in aerodynamic efficiency of 20% compared to the LIMAR Ultralight+ model, also proven by various tests carried out in velodromes/wind tunnels
